Staatstheater Stuttgart
Enjoy culture in the former royal court theatre. The opera house and theatre are in the Schlossgarten ("castle gardens") of the state capital and offer a range of stage performances of opera, ballet and theatre.
Staatsgalerie Stuttgart
Art gallery of the state of Baden-Württemberg with paintings and sculptures from the 14th to the 21st century. The focus is very much on the twentieth century.
Ludwigsburg castles
The baroque town of Ludwigsburg has three castles for you to visit: the summer residence and hunting lodge Favorite, the lakeside palace Monrepos and the magnificent Residential Palace – the largest baroque castle in its original condition in Germany.
Porsche Museum
More than 80 vehicles and numerous small exhibits are on display in the unique atmosphere of the Porsche Museum.
Mercedes-Benz Museum
An impressive tour of 125 years of automotive history. The museum houses 160 vehicles as well as other fantastic exhibits.
Museum on the Hohenasperg
The impressively set out exhibition is in the former prison arsenal and comprises 22 biographies of famous former inmates such as poet Christian Friedrich Daniel Schubart as well as industrialist and republican Gottlieb Rau.
Asperg winegrowing museum
The museum documents the long tradition of winegrowing in Asperg. There are numerous appliances for wine growing, pressing and correct storage on display.
Schiller-Nationalmuseum in Marbach am Neckar
Permanent exhibition with literature from the 18th and 19th centuries. The focus in on Swabian literature. Twelve kilometres away from the Adler Asperg.
Maulbronn Monastery
Immerse yourself in the Medieval monastery complex of the Cistercian monks. The Maulbronn Monastery is a World Heritage Site.
