A conversation with Kathrin Langner, chambermaid at Hotel Adler Asperg
Kathrin Langner is 30 years old and grew up in Asperg. After finishing primary school, she trained as a housekeeping assistant in Ravensburg. She has been working as a chambermaid at the Hotel Adler Asperg for 10 years and is an important member of the Adler team.
What tasks are part of your job?
My tasks include making the beds and changing the bed linen, vacuuming and dusting the guest rooms as well as cleaning the guest rooms, halls and the public areas, such as the reception area and the Schubart Stube.
How do you try to make the guests happy?
As a chambermaid, I try to create a nice and clean atmosphere for the guests in the ‘Adler’ through my work, so that they feel comfortable and can switch off throughout their stay at our hotel.
You have recently celebrated your 10th work anniversary at the Adler Asperg, what do you like most about your job?
The ten years I've worked at the Hotel Adler have flown by. I have fitted very well in the team and am very proud to be part of the ‘Adler family’.
In your opinion, why is the Adler Asperg worth a stay?
A stay at the Adler is always something special - whether eating in the different restaurants or staying overnight in the hotel. We do our best to offer our guests a wonderful stay at the Adler.
