Asparagus cream soup, a new dish in the "Adler Feine Küche im Glas" range
Asparagus tastes good, is healthy and low in calories. The vegetable has minerals like potassium, calcium, iron, phosphorus, folic acid and vitamin B.
Unfortunately, the asparagus season only lasts a few months a year. We thought about how we could extend it and came up with the idea of preparing the asparagus as a cream soup and offering it in a glass "to go".
The cream of asparagus soup is a new dish from the "Adler Feine Küche im Glas", available around the clock in our refrigerated vending machine. We prepare it the classic way. First we boil a broth with the asparagus peels, white wine, lemon, salt and sugar. Then we add the asparagus sections, a little more white wine, cream and the broth, add cornflour, butter, salt, pepper and bay leaf, and cook off.
We present the cream of asparagus soup in a 400 ml. cup, which is sufficient for two servings. Before eating, warm the cream of asparagus soup in the pot or in the glass.
