A conversation with Marco Hünicke, restaurant manager at the RichardZ and Schwabenstube
In August 1990, after graduating from high school, Marco Hünicke was one of the first trainees from the new German federal states at the Hotel Adler Asperg. In 1993, he was promoted to Chef de Rang and shortly afterwards appointed Deputy Restaurant Manager. Since 2004, he has been restaurant manager for the RichardZ and the Schwabenstube, which has held a Michelin star since November 2006.
Welcome to our our new apprentices!
In the last few weeks we have welcomed eight new apprentices to the Hotel Adler Asperg. Four new apprentices have started their training as chefs with us, while the other four apprentices will complete their course in our service department.

Ellen Klinger took the path to the hotel industry in 2010 when she finished her A-levels and flew to Australia for a year. She has been Assistant Front Office Manager at the Hotel Adler Asperg since 2021
Alan Wong, guest chef at the Adler Asperg
Alan Wong, celebrity chef from Hawaii and Oliver Altherr, a gastronomy expert and CEO of Marché International, have joined the Adler Asperg kitchen team this week. They are working together on the preparations for a private event for around 300 guests, which will take place at the weekend under the theme "Hawaii". A total of 50 Adler Asperg employees will work in the event.

Sustainable and environmentally conscious actions are part of our strategy as a company. Therefore, we took part in the "DEHOGA Environmental Check". Our business went through a critical review in the areas of energy, water consumption, waste generation, food and regional purchasing.

A conversation with Mo Galal, Banquet & Events at Hotel Adler Asperg
Mo Galal kommt aus Ägypten, dem Land der Pyramiden und der Pharaonen. Nach dem Abitur in Dubai, hat Galal seine Liebe zur Gastronomie entdeckt. Er studierte Hotel- und Tourismusmanagement und hat fünf Jahre lang Erfahrung in verschiedenen Ressorts und 5-Sterne-Hotels gesammelt. Seit 2006 arbeitet er im Hotel Adler Asperg. Zuerst war er Tagungsleiter, danach stellvertretender Bankettleiter, bis er 2016 zum Bankettleiter befördert wurde.

Until 9 September, our summer terrace is open for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Friday, and only for dinner on Mondays and Sundays.
