What a gala!
On October 2nd, the gala for the 125th anniversary of the Ottenbacher family took place at the Adler Asperg.
A total of 100 guests joined in the celebration. They were welcomed with champagne, canapés and live music from 16:00. Before dinner, it was time for the photo session with Christian and Dr. Dory Ottenbacher, who greeted each guest personally.
All about pumpkins
Did you know that there are 800 different varieties of pumpkin? Only 200 of them are edible. The berry fruit originally came from Latin America. In the 16th century, the pumpkin came to Europe via Spain. Nowadays, it is grown everywhere, even in China, where it is produced the most.
The new season starts at the tapas bar Águila
After the summer break, the tapas bar Águila in the Hotel Adler is opened again. Under the management of Patrick Schuster, the Spanish restaurant has some novelties in the current season.
The history of the Ottenbacher family at Adler Asperg - From 1998 to 2022
Christian Ottenbacher began his education in Gastronomy in 1984. He first completed an apprenticeship as a cook at the Wald & Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe. This was followed by stays abroad in Switzerland, France, Austria, the United States as well as Spain.
