The Swabian "Maultaschen" from ‘Adlers Feine Küche im Glas’

Maultaschen are one of the most important dishes in Swabian cuisine. That is why they are also a centrepiece of the Adler tradition and among the products of ‘Adlers Feine Küche im Glas'. The  Adler's Swabian Maultaschen have been prepared with the same dedication and according to a tried and tested recipe for many years. 

Adlers Maultaschen are filled with a mixture of fresh spinach, high-quality beef and pork, eggs and exquisite spices. The Swabian Maultaschen can be found in many dishes in the Adler Asperg restaurants. Our guests can currenlty enjoy them in the colourful salad platter with strips of fried Maultaschen, as a diced Maultaschen with gravy and potato salad or as a side dish to the ‘Schubart's’ plate and roast beef in the Schubarts Stube on the Hohenasperg. Maultaschen are also one of the side dishes served with Adler's roast beef in the RichardZ restaurant

Adler's Swabian Maultaschen are sold in vacuum-packed packs of four and are available around the clock in the gourmet fridge in the car park of the Hotel Adler Asperg. At home, they can be cooked as a dip in a beef or chicken broth or fried in strips and with onions in a pan.
