Day 1: After arriving at the Adler Asperg, we head to Ludwigsburg, formerly the residential city of the dukes and kings of Württemberg. The Residenzschloss was built in the 18th century on the model of Versailles. The palace is surrounded by a beautiful baroque garden. The fairytale garden presents over 40 fairytale scenes that delight young and old alike. Regular events take place in the Blühende Barock, such as the musical fireworks on July 1st or the sand art exhibition until August 20th. The Favoritepark, the market square or the pedestrian zone in Ludwigsburg are also worth seeing.
